Product website in Guerrilla marketing
A product website is a website server that is used for promotion of a product or a service to the target audience. In comparison to a corporate website the product web pages have main interest to sell, a corporate website usually gives information. A product website has no commonly given structure or strict characteristics in terms of structure or formal layout of the design parts on the pages. Web design studios have very often a large space for creativity given by a client or an advertising agency as the secondary research and literature review shown.

The products website has much less common characteristics then the corporate ones, as the comparison of the already mentioned corporate websites and product websites indicate. The reason is assumed to be that different products and different companies have different marketing objectives. The product website servers are therefore built according to product design, positioning of the product and the quality of the website is also very often influenced by budget of the companies. As it is obvious from research of the product websites examples identified above, there is no limit for technical or marketing innovation and therefore the product websites can help the product to differentiate and to find new customers. However, strict corporate rules and given business objectives may often decrease level of creativity of the advertising agencies or web design studios.
It can be concluded that product websites are appropriate communication channel for campaigns using guerrilla marketing principles, however an in-depth analysis of target audience and an appropriate analysis of positioning of the brand have to be conducted and taken as an information input to creative concept of the product website.
